Kristie Murdock is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 25 years of nursing experience. She has a Master's degree as a PMHNP from Frontier Nursing University. Kristie has been dedicated to working in community health to help provide access to care for those in need.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Kristie strongly believes in shared decision-making and building a strong therapeutic relationship with patients where trust and respect are most important. She treats multiple disorders in adults, including depression, anxiety, bipolar illness, schizophrenia, OCD, ADHD, and PTSD, with a comprehensive and holistic approach. Lastly, she is skilled in conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations, developing Individualized treatment plans and providing brief supportive psychotherapy and medication management.
Kristie's greatest desire is for her patient to feel heard, understood and empowered throughout their treatment journey. She places a great importance on education and ensuring patience have a deep understanding of their mental health and the medications they are taking.
